candy experiments

I've only had time to look at a few of these but they sure seem like fun. At least it's a good way to use up some Halloween candy.

So glad you like candy experiments Our family has a blast soaking, sinking, squashing, and heating our candy. You can do all sorts of amazing things with it.

Since you're concerned about oil and artificial flavorings in food, you might like to try the oil test and color separation. For the oil test, heat some chewy candy like Starbursts and let it cool, then look for oil spots. Color separation lets you see how many dyes are actually used in the candy you eat. (M&M brown separates into a rainbow of colors!)

Good luck spreading information about nutrition!
