SCREAMS recommends a diet free of additives

http://come-over.to/FAS/brochures/SCREAMSbroch.pdf

My 3 year old's therapist gave me a handout today. I was happy to see that it mentioned how much an additive free diet can help. This particular handout is for Fetal Alcohol Syndrome but I see so many similarities between FAS and Autism. I appreciate any FAS literature for Ana, then I use it to apply to Andrew also.

I love this post. My husband and I started 2 years ago to read the labels first. We created the rule that when a product has more than 5 ingredients (especially names we cannot identify or understand) we don't buy it. Also when first ingredients are fillers we will not take it home. For example, most drinks first ingredient is water...the second is sugar...Thanks for sharing.
